About Heather

Heather Russell is the paralegal at Hall & Means, LLC and one of the firm's most valuable assets — not only for her case-management skill but for the relationships she has built across the Charleston-area family courts. Heather is the steady connection between Hall & Means' attorneys and the people, offices, and procedures that move every family law case forward.

Over years of working with the Charleston County Family Court, opposing counsel's offices, and the paralegals and court administrators who keep the system running, Heather has built genuine professional relationships that consistently benefit the firm's clients. Her ability to pick up the phone, ask the right question, and resolve an issue that might otherwise stall a case is one of the reasons the firm runs the way it does.

For Hall & Means' clients, Heather is often the first voice they hear after a consultation and the consistent point of contact through filings, court dates, and the long stretches between hearings. She brings a client-first mindset to every interaction — answering questions, gathering documents, preparing filings, and making sure no detail is lost in the process.

The United States Air Force runs through Heather’s life story. Born and raised in an Air Force family, she continued that tradition by marrying into the Air Force community. She and her husband relocated multiple times across the United States during his military career before returning to the Lowcountry after his retirement. She remains deeply proud of his service and the sacrifices made by all military families. Heather’s lifelong connection to the military gives her a genuine ability to relate to and support military families with empathy, understanding, and respect.
